A new chapter opens in Saussay-la-Campagne

We are delighted to announce the opening of our brand-new linen scutching plant in Saussay-la-Campagne (27), a crucial milestone for the Depestele group.

The ‘Teillage du Vexin’ marks our third location and represents a strategic choice. Located in the heart of our flax fields and surrounded by our partner farmers, it’s ideally located within a 20-kilometer radius. This proximity considerably reduces our environmental impact in terms of transport and strengthens our ties amongst the local farming community.

The opening of this factory also generates local job creation, a key element in our commitment to regional economic development.

Currently equipped with two scutching lines, our plant aims to expand its capacities with the addition of a third line in the coming years. This is in line with our long-term vision of making a sustainable contribution to the linen industry.
