European conference on composite materials

At the beginning of July, we were in Nantes for the ^21st edition of the ECCM (European Conference on composite Materials).

It is a European conference that brings together mainly researchers and industrialists from the composites sector. This event allows national and international researchers to present their work in different fields.

As Depestele is committed to research and development, Davy, RD manager at Depestele, accompanied our 3 PhD students and presented LINCORE® reinforcements for the composites market.

Tiffany presented a poster entitled ” Numerical modeling and experimental comparison of a tensile test on flax yarn “.

Ali gave a presentation on the effects of flax particle size on the microstructure and mechanical behavior of injection-molded thermoplastic biocomposites.

And finally, Antoine presented his work on the impact of processing conditions on the behavior of composite materials.
